About Me

I’m originally from Costa Rica and started out at the University of Pennsylvania thinking I’d go into marketing. Instead, I found myself drawn to the people behind the numbers—their habits, motivations, and frustrations—and realized my real passion was designing for them.

That led me to join a startup as the Founding/ Lead UI/UX designer, where I helped turn an idea with 45,000 downloads into a platform with over half a million users and strong retention, simply by listening to what people actually needed.

When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me in the gym, sketching, or deep in a chess game—because whether it’s pixels or pawns, I love finding patterns and solving problems.
